Mrs. Katie Gentry is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo with over a decade of martial arts training and instruction experience. Since 2010, she has been perfecting her craft across disciplines while sharing her knowledge with students of all ages.

​

Katie established a thriving Taekwondo school in Hope, Arkansas, in 2012. Over the past seven years under her leadership, she built an incredible team that will continue the school’s student-focused legacy. This has allowed Katie to pursue her next chapter with the Professional Black Belt Association.

 

Her teaching philosophy centers around empowering students to reach their full potential inside and outside the dojang. Katie strives to instill discipline, leadership, and life skills in children, teens, and adults alike. Many students over the years have benefited greatly from her mentorship.

 

When not training or teaching, Katie enjoys reading, volunteering, camping, hiking, playing games, and spending quality time with her husband, family members, three dogs, and a cat.
